More than just a coffee break

One cup of morning tea was not enough for me today. I had to take a late coffee break to boost my caffeine level.

At Starbucks, I got more than just a cup of Peppermint Mocha and a piece of cake.
When I was wondering if the music was distracting, a familiar melody started to play.
I kept asking myself, "is that it? is that it? is that the song I think it is?"
And I was right, it was the upbeat jazz kind of remix version of one of my favorite songs "Tide is High" from childhood.

Although John Holt sang it first in the '60s from a male perspective, I found some interesting videos:
Debbie Harry (Blondie) performance
Relaxation: Landscape
Fun: Faculty steel band performance

I also listened to Josh Groban's new song "Higher Window"

Heal the World

I found a song today. An old but popular song of Michael Jackson called Heal the World. I was listening to the song while reading the lyric for the very first time. I did not realize how great this song was, in terms of puns, structure, meaning, etc. It was simply beautiful; and it touched my heart.

Movie to watch in HK

離開是為了回來 used to be my old random thoughts and it recently appeared in the trailer of the movie Merry-Go-Round <<東風破>>

Also... 黃子華's new show (>,<)*

November thoughts

Everything is going to be GREAT down the road! Living with faith is the key. ;p

一行禪師
(note: you may wanna skip and only watch 17-27 mins part)

幸福只存在於此時此地
當下一刻的永恆
珍惜所有

Halloween weekend 2010

Cold... bitter cold!

It had been warm for a week... warm enough that I might once mistaken it was spring. However, this is another cold Halloween weekend.

This year, I dressed up as Arale. 俏小雲
Sorry, no erotic uniform temptation was provided.
Please click here for my Halloween moments~

I made a very last minute decision to join the parade. I was wearing two layers to march through the entire route at 37 degree F.

Thanks for my Arale cap. It helped to keep my head warm... though the headache was inescapable.

Note: I LOVE my ARALE hat.
Many people came to ask me about it so I think this cute hat will become a trendy statement soon. A possible best selling Halloween item for next year.
