My first and last summer weekend

I finally got a full weekend off and it was sunny!

I enjoyed the sweetness of doing nothing and it ended with a "blue magic" shaved ice dessert. yum.

Counting down to more stimulating challenges and excitement~

Travel without travelling

Pasta, Meditation, Sex-ploration @ Loews Theater

Eat, Pray, Love was a good movie for me as I did not read the book or visit any of those places...

Forbidden City @MOCA

A presentation about the reconstruction of the Palace of Established Happiness (Jianfu Gong), by Ms. Happy Harun, was great. The Chinese technique 燙樣 was interesting.

Nippon @Park Avenue

Yoshimoto Nara's Open Studio @ Park Avenue Armory + Film Travelling with Yoshimoto Nara @ Asia Society

Nighty owl walking home

Today was my last day... supposedly.

Walking home, I hung up on a work-related phone call, looking at the time, that says 1:37am.

I passed by the subway station as I thought I could walk home faster than waiting for a train at this hour

So I walked.

From West to East, I was walking on the same route at the same hour for the same reason for the second time

Until I turned left.

People skateboarding. Pharmacy loading up gallons of milk. Construction workers painting on the road. A garbage truck approaching to a 70s Porsche. A teenage couple smooching next to a church (ironic? yea, I know)

My 20-pound bags were indeed heavy!
