Fall in love with fall

Who does't like Autumn?

It was a sunny sightseeing day (99 degree F) in DC.
It was a memorable & tasteful wedding in MD.
It was an amazing getaway after 5 months.

My bus/ Metro/ cab/ Amtrak rides + services from friendly waitress at the Capital Grille.
Found myself chilling and eventually napping at the rooftop leisure area, looking at the round moon across from Tiffany's store and next to Vera Wang's...








Marriage is a private commitment between two lovers. However, many people want to celebrate this moment with the couple. A simple ceremony held at this church. The meaning behind was significant. Their joy. Their smile. Their happiness. I felt it all.
True love is meant to be celebrated. Congratulations!

Back to NY, I did not miss out the Apple Day on Orchard this time.
Gotta support LES cultural development. =)

Now, it's time to plan out my favorite month of the year.

Let me pause and have some random thoughts in this transitional month~

Ten things about me 2010 (updated from the 16 things 2009)
1. love walking (I think being able to walk is a blessing and I walk a lot. Living in a walkable city is totally for me.)
2. love biking (& whoever bikes with me.)
3. miss hiking & scuba diving
4. traveling has been a big part of my life. still love it so.
5. love to create, create & create.
6. believe in respect, respect & respect.
7. needs & wants: a watch, a pair of reading glasses, a wallet, dresses, shoes...? aiya.
8. color: jade-green in August; sapphire-blue in September.
9. enjoy eating & cooking fun
10. work hard. play hard.

The power of human touch

高竇貓變得友善了

上次肥肥高竇貓不太理我，靜靜地看著我替瘦貓按摩。直至我輕輕按牠的背，牠才停下來，看著我。
今次瘦貓在沙發睡覺，這肥貓就好享受咁攤在地上被我按摩。我用單手替牠按，牠就用牠的小手按我的另一隻手。可是，牠的指甲很鋒利又不斷甩毛，所以最後我用手握著牠，再用刷子幫牠掃毛。看起來，牠十分享受呢！

輕輕的觸碰不單是生理上的接觸，而且是心靈上的安撫。

J. treats me like his daughter, or even granddaughter. Nothing I can say more to show my appreciation to his kindness & selflessness. gotta be a better cat-sitter for him. =)

9-11 weekend

If Labor Day weekend was 「小試牛刀」, then this 9/11 weekend was educational.

got home, totally exhausted.
should be in bed as soon as I got back, but I don't think I am relaxed enough for it yet.
long traveling + lack of sleep + priceless personal & professional training = me, half-dead, yet with wisdom (potential pimples coming out...ugh!)

It did not brainwash me, but it allowed me to understand more about their vision and platform.

When I was sitting at the VIP section watching Donald J. Trump being interviewed, I realized that he was a real businessman. Besides his signature "You're fired" he actually gave constructive opinion on doing business and had a sense of humor. When he smiled, he did smile sincerely. He spoke frankly about his financial situation to the audience.
No one can miss his American pride! Perhaps I should get to know his way of business thinking and how he managed to get through the toughest moments. In fact, the press still likes to approach him and retains him as a New York multi-billionaire icon.

When he talked about his stories in negotiating about his The Apprentice reality show, he said, "I am a lover not a fighter." And everyone laughed.
He brought his son Eric there to show that he is a loving father.

開學喇！

Not real "school" but even better. New challenge has begun!

If my math was right, we had a fabulous Spring/ Summer with only less than 12 days of rain since April.

Autumn in New York. Just like the movie. gonna be awesome!
