My cell phone has been a useful device in my comprehensive alarm system. This morning, after I turned my cell phone off, flipped it, and I fell back to sleep like I always did. However, when I woke up, the screen of the cell phone was not showing any images. Two-third of the screen was blank with bright background and the remaining part of the screen was completely black. So I turned it off and turned it back on. Well, this time, the power was on, but not the screen.
When this happened, the first thing that came across my mind was my pictures. I saved about 40 pictures I had taken at school and work where I did not carry my camera with me all the time. I never backed up those pictures or saved them in any other devices. I never thought those images meant so much to me.
I decided to have my phone fixed right away. At the subway station, there were already a lot of passengers waiting on the platform, so I thought I would not have to wait very long. After waiting for 15 mins, I overheard a man talking to the station's agent. He was yelling at the agent, complaining about the long wait. I could not hear what the agent said, but it turned out that all trains skipped our stop. Without notifying us, the agent made us wait and watch all other trains running bypass the station for that long. We left with disapproval.
I finally arrived at the store though I was too early. Once I got in, I was told that no technician would be in today, so I had to come back.
